I believe in providing the best care to every patient. I ensure that I am familiar with the most current and best treatment options, and that my patients understand the risks, benefits and goals of treatment. I believe in strong patient provider communication and an attitude of caring.
As a child growing up in India, Dr. Sreenivasappa experienced a severe illness, which inspired him to want to help others.
"I wanted to make a difference in people's lives," he said. "I believed, and still do, that being a provider is a noble profession. I personally liked that we can cure conditions."
Dr. Sreenivasappa enjoys bringing quality of life and hope to his patients, and he believes his specialty, oncology, regularly makes impactful change for the better to people's lives.
He believes strongly in the worth and dignity of every patient, and he chose to work with OSF HealthCare because the organization shares that belief. He brings that attitude to his patient appointments, too.
"I listen to my patients' concerns and make sure they understand the disease and the treatment options available to them," Dr. Sreenivasappa said.
He is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, reading and traveling.
