I believe in a patient-centered approach and meeting people where they are. I give choices when I can so the patient feels comfortable with me and the treatment decision.
Tracy Palmer has always loved helping people. Nursing seemed like a natural fit for her at a very young age. So when she decided to become a nurse practitioner, family medicine was an easy choice.
"You get to see patients of all ages and stages of life," she said. "I love to see multiple generations of families and make those personal connections."
Tracy feels that listening is key to proper diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, she promises to be fully engaged with every patient.
"I want to understand all aspects of how they feel," she said.
Growing up in Rockford, Tracy feels very much at home in Byron. She and her husband love being outdoors and camp often.
