I believe in a patient-centered approach. My goal is to provide optimal health to all my patients by promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. I also like to provide comprehensive, up-to-date health care to meet every patient's needs and health care goals.
Dr. Sravantika Koneru was born in raised in southern India. She always wanted to help people, and with several relatives in the medical profession as role models, she pursued a career in medicine.
"I got into family medicine because I relish the opportunity to take care of entire families and advocate for their comprehensive, preventive care," Dr. Koneru said. "I treat each patient like family. I don't rush patients. I listen to their concerns. I work with them and always make sure they are comfortable with their treatment plan."
She is married to a fellow OSF physician and is a mother to two boys. In her free time, Dr. Koneru likes to listen to music, dance, travel and spend time with family and friends.
