I strive to provide competent, empathetic, compassionate and holistic care by staying up to date on current health issues. I also believe in respecting the cultural beliefs, ethnicity and sexual orientation of patients and their families.
Shenell has always had a love for science, but it was a personal loss that turned her focus to medicine.
"My great grandmother passing away is what made me go into nursing," Shenell said. "I love learning, and I wanted to grow in the profession of nursing."
She uses her strengths and compassion to provide the best care possible.
"I love that providers have such a profound impact on people," Shenell said. "When I see a patient, I focus on them, being attentive, friendly and thorough. Being a health care provider is a gift from God."
Shenell is married with two children. She enjoys reading and skating.
