Having a father who was a general surgeon drew Dr. Nyi into the medical field. His decision to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology was based in his faith. "Helping the Lord bring a new Spirit into the world, what could be better than that?" he said.

Dr. Nyi is married and has two children. When not working, he enjoys golfing, motorcycling and hiking with his wife.
One interesting tidbit about Dr. Nyi, at age 17 we was on the Wheel of Fortune game show and won a car stereo.
