I meet patients where they are in their chronic health journey in terms of what they are willing to try medically and non-medically. Medication is not my first go-to in treatment plans unless it is needed for patients to control their health.
Dr. Fisher was raised in Nigeria before moving to the United States when she was 15. Growing up in her home country and experiencing a lack of primary care drew her to medicine.
She chose to focus on family medicine because it offers an opportunity to care for patients from infancy to end of life.
"During an appointment with me, patients can feel welcomed and comfortable," Dr. Fisher said. "There is no sense of judgment from me. I work with them in developing a treatment plan that is cost-effective for them."
