Kavya Moravineni, MD, pursued a career in medicine to bring together two things she enjoyed – studying biological science and helping others.
"Medicine wonderfully brings together science and ability to help people in meaningful ways, which aligns with what I wanted to do in life generally," she said.
As a neurologist, Dr. Moravineni specializes in treating patients with movement disorders.
"A typical appointment would include discussing symptoms and a neurological exam, which would lead to a discussion of diagnosis and treatment options. I also try to educate patients about the disease's course and potential future problems that they might encounter. I want my patients to know our team is there to help every step of the way."
