I treat all my patients how I would want my family to be treated in the hospital. Every patient is someone's loved one and in need of our care.
Born in Chicago, Robert's family moved to the suburb of Carpentersville when he was young. Growing up, he was inspired by his mother's work as a nurse – and the impact she made on other people's lives – to pursue his own health care career.
He has always loved cardiology and enjoyed working with critical patients, so cardiovascular surgery is a perfect fit. There is always more to learn, and the specialty is constantly changing and improving, which he finds exciting.
"I will always take the time to listen to a patient and will make sure that I will help in any way that I can," Robert said. "Patients will receive knowledgeable care and leave my care with the peace of mind that comes from knowing all their needs have been addressed."
In his spare time, Robert enjoys the outdoors – hiking with his dog, skiing and traveling. He is a self-described movie buff who likes to keep himself busy.
