Jennifer grew up in La Moille, Illinois, and now lives in Granville. Previously, Jennifer worked at OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois, but she is happy to have made the transition to Ottawa because the community is similar to the community she grew up in.
Coming from a family of nurses, Jennifer has always been immersed in the business of medicine and health care. "Pediatrics has been my area of interest ever since I was little girl. I couldn't ever imagine doing anything else," she said.
Jennifer's approach to care is to be a coordinator for her patients' overall health, including social, mental and physical needs. "I appreciate and understand the busy lifestyles of families and the importance of efficient medical care."
When she's not busy caring for her patients, she enjoys traveling and exercising. She also enjoys giving back. In 2013, Jennifer traveled to Haiti to provide medical care to those in need.
Jennifer is married to her husband, Eric, and they welcomed their son, Brooks, in August 2017. The family also has a black lab, Riley.
