I make it a priority to incorporate each patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual health in his or her care. My goal is to work as a team with each patient to create and maintain personal goals for health and wellness.
Jeanette grew up in the Chicago suburbs, then lived in Colorado for several years before returning to Illinois to be close to family and take advantage of all the opportunities to enjoy the outdoors available in the Illinois River valley.
She started her medical career as a registered nurse in 2000 before becoming an advanced practice nurse specializing in family medicine.
"I wanted to enhance my role in preventative care," Jeanette said. "I love interacting with patients and helping them live the fullest life possible. "Educating patients on prevention and healthy lifestyle changes is important to me. I value motivating and guiding patients to make healthy choices that promote healing and prevent deterioration in health."
She includes patients in the care process, treating them as teammates in decision making and recognizing them each as a unique person with unique needs.
Jeanette has a daughter, and being a mother has been the greatest joy in her life. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, camping and boating, enjoying the beauty of nature every chance she gets.
