Dr. Wadhawan chose pediatrics to provide her patients with a good foundation for a healthy life.
"I believe the long-term health of an individual begins at birth," she said. "Proper health care and healthy habits that are adopted early on can positively shape a child's future health care journey."
Dr. Wadhawan believes that considering the wider needs of patients and their families is extremely important.
"I like to ensure both my patients and their parents feel heard and comfortable with me as their physician," she said.
Dr. Wadhawan was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She enjoys going on adventures with her husband, who also works in the medical field.
