I strive to treat each patient as an individual while encouraging active participation and understanding of their treatment plan. I also provide them with holistic care while staying true to my own values.
Heather wants you to know that she is very good at listening and that your concerns will be heard when you're under her care.
"If something isn't working, then we'll work together and try something else," she said.
Cardiology has been one of Heather's passions since her clinical rotations in undergraduate school. She also enjoys teaching others.
"Specializing in cardiology allows me to experience a variety of situations, from high intensity to more relaxed," she said. "It's the best of both worlds for me."
Heather lives in Fairbury with her husband and two sons. She also has a grown stepdaughter, a cat and a dog.
