I value a patient- and family-centered approach to care that includes listening to, informing and involving patients and their families in establishing and achieving their health care goals.
Becky decided to work at OSF HealthCare because of its focus on meeting the diverse mental health needs of the communities it serves.
"The behavioral health department has a strong interdisciplinary team with years of experience and diverse expertise," she said. "I look forward to working with a strong team in order to best meet the needs of the patients I serve."
The area of mental health has always been a passion for Becky.
"Prior to become a nurse practitioner, I worked as a social worker for over 15 years," she said. "Becoming a mental health nurse practitioner allows me to serve patients and meet the mental health needs of our community in a different way."
Becky works with her patients to create an appointment structure that encourages open communication in a supportive environment.
"A person cannot achieve true health without becoming mentally healthy," she said. "It is my passion to help patients in their mental health journey."
When not working, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, being outside and traveling.
