My goal as a pediatrician is to assist patients and families with open communication, to provide general pediatric health care when children are ill and preventive care as well.
As a child, Dr. Larson drew from her experiences with her grandfather, a general practitioner, and decided to become a doctor. She was always interested in the medical field.
"I have always loved being around kids, but when I had my first pediatrics rotation in medical school, I knew that specialty was for me,"" she said.
Dr. Larson loves taking care of children, but also enjoys helping parents and easing their minds about what may be going on with their kids.
"Although the pediatric patient is the priority at an appointment, the parent or guardian is also very important,"" she said. "I want to be able to answer any questions a parent may have so they can care for their child in the best way possible."
